Designed and hand made by Pearl Red Moon. One of a kind.
Cloth and various mixed media. The backing of the focal piece is cloth and the front features a vintage image of a Japanese Maiko (Geisha) which has been collected and altered by me. Image measures 3 x 5cm(1 1/4 x 2"). This has been printed on archival treated cloth and sealed with varnishes. Below the image I've stitched (with super strong 6lb breaking strength Fireline) a large double layered tassel (hand made by me), a piece of red leather thong, brass flower finding, filigree, chain tassel and bell. Various other embellishments include #11 seed beads, Czech beads, Swarovski crystal, genuine Hmong embroidered button, cotton pompoms and a flower image under a glass pebble. The necklace is brass chain and circumference measures76cm(30"), so the focal piece lies low on the chest. A closure hasn't been needed as the necklace has ample opening to pull on over the head.
Avoid immersion in water. The necklace can easily be wiped clean with a soft damp cloth if necessary.
